CoreOptimise Health Support

CoreOptimise Health Support

CoreOptimise Health is the companion iPhone app for My CoreOptimise® Health & Performance. It allows you to connect approved Apple Health data to your CoreOptimise® account so it can be displayed alongside the information you choose to save in My CoreOptimise®.

Getting started

  1. Sign in to your CoreOptimise® customer account at account.coreoptimise.co.uk.
  2. Open My CoreOptimise® → Health → Connections & privacy.
  3. Read and tick the Apple Health connected-health consent box.
  4. Select Pair iPhone App to generate a one-time six-digit pairing code.
  5. Open the CoreOptimise Health iPhone app and enter the pairing code within 10 minutes.
  6. Approve only the Apple Health permissions you want to share.

Apple Health permissions

CoreOptimise Health is designed as a read-only companion for approved HealthKit data. The planned initial read scope includes height, body mass, body-fat percentage, steps, walking/running distance, active energy, heart rate, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability (SDNN), VO₂ max, sleep information and workouts.

You remain in control of Apple Health permissions and can change them through your iPhone settings at any time.

Pairing problems

If a pairing code has expired, return to My CoreOptimise® and generate a new one. Pairing codes are single-use and expire after approximately 10 minutes.

If the app reports that a pairing code is invalid, check that you are entering the latest code generated for Apple Health and that the code has not already been used.

No data showing

Check that the relevant Apple Health permissions are enabled and that Apple Health contains data for the metric you expect to see. If access to a category is not granted, CoreOptimise Health cannot read that category.

Some metrics depend on your device, Apple Watch or third-party apps writing compatible data to Apple Health. Missing data is not treated as a zero value.

Disconnecting and deleting imported data

You can stop future Apple Health access by revoking Health permissions on your iPhone or by unpairing the companion app. You can also use the Disconnect & Delete Imported Data controls within My CoreOptimise® where available.

Revoking Apple Health permission stops future access but does not necessarily delete information that has already been synchronised to your CoreOptimise® account. For more information, see our Privacy & Data Choices page.

AI Context Intelligence

AI Context Intelligence is optional and separate from basic Health & Performance storage and display. It is controlled by its own permission in My CoreOptimise®. If you enable it, selected saved context may be processed to generate an AI-assisted summary. You can disable it at any time.

Privacy

CoreOptimise® does not use information obtained through Apple Health / HealthKit for advertising or marketing purposes.

Please read our Privacy Policy and Privacy & Data Choices page for more information about connected-health data, retention, deletion and your rights.
